AURUM A9 Stereo Amplifikatör

The AURUM A9  is our new high-end integrated amplifier - handmade in Germany. It is based on a dual mono design with separate power supply, signal processing and amplification. We exhaust the entire spectrum of technical and scientific knowledge of circuit technology so that you can enjoy a listening experience in a class of its own.

We have placed great value on a symbiosis of an extremely delicate and detailed playing style, whose strength can also be found in its splendid sound dynamics and power.

Interference protection:
• Class-AB output stage for a low-distortion sound image and great natural sound.
• Trouble-free operation at the highest level thanks to individually decoupled sections.
• Separate power packs for the standby power supply and digital and analog modules.
• The broadband mains filter eliminates external symmetrical interference from the mains and asymmetrical interference from the housing and "earth line".

Input switching:
• high-quality, encapsulated signal relays and hard gold-plated contacts for optimal signal transmission.
• Almost wear-free relays for an extraordinarily long service life.

Input stage:
• Particularly low-distortion and low-noise thanks to BI-FET operational amplifiers for the widest frequency range and a significant increase in dynamics in music reproduction.
• Low-noise operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments for a sensitive front end.

Signal transmission :
• Efficient signal transmission with minimized distortion.
• Optimized module architecture for short signal paths.
• High-quality polypropylene film capacitors made in Germany.
• Extreme interference suppression and low-loss signal transmission using SMD technology (an innovative technology for the production of assemblies).

Real double mono construction:
• Separate power supply for each channel, its own signal processing and individual signal amplification for more power, dynamics and power reserves.
• Two separately working, low-scatter power packs, a transformer and a rectifier for a fine-resolution and stable sound.
• Balanced inputs (XLR) for optimal signal transmission.This professional type of connection enables signal transmission with a ground conductor used exclusively for shielding, on which there is no signal flow itself.

Pre-amplifier and integrated amplifier:
• Professional, precise and logarithmic volume setting like in the studio with real 1 dB steps.
• Exactly synchronized volume control of the audio channels.
